I suggest you ...

Site: Lynda.com

Before I started using coderbits (which introduced me to so many awesome resources), I was using Lynda.com predominately to learn software, design, and coding skills. It would be nice to be able to reflect this in my profile. Are there any plans to include lynda.com in the future?

Lynda does have a form of public profiles—in their list of completion certificates for each user. They're indexed by user number and found by users at the bottom of the "My Courses" button of Lynda's main navigation strip. From there, users can download PDFs, as well as get links for sharing certificates individually or on the whole. Mine, for example, are publicly viewable here: http://www.lynda.com/AllCertificates/User/2450799

I vote for it. Also, adding the ability to manually add these courses would solve the problem if they never add API
